Tom Lorentz, President and Founder
In 1984, Tom started the company now known as Main Mobility, Inc., builder of the AdaptaVan™, as a small business based out of his grandfather's former service station. With more than a quarter of a century building wheelchair and handicap accessible vans and vehicles, Tom is well known for his unparalleled creativity, innovation, hard work and uncompromising dedication to safe and high quality wheelchair accessible vans.
His hands-on leadership approach provides AdaptaVan customers with accessible management and a wealth of field knowledge. It also allows Tom the opportunity to be directly involved in all facets of the business, from research and development to sales and marketing. Tom McGraw, General Manager
Tom brings more than 35 years of management and sales experience to AdaptaVan customers. As general manager, he is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the company as well as long-term corporate initiatives. Prior to joining the company, Tom spent many years in sales and management with The Sherwin-Williams Automotive Finishes Corporation and Middle Atlantic Warehouse Distributor Inc. Rich Middaugh, General Sales Manager
Rich provides AdaptaVan customers with extensive management experience and knowledge in a variety of areas such as safety, quality assurance and maintenance, along with a strong business background in both college and high school administration and education.
Prior to joining the company, Rich served in the U.S. Navy as a naval aviator for 22 years where he held numerous management positions in aircraft maintenance, quality assurance and safety. He came to Buffalo, New York as the commanding officer of the Navy Recruiting District where he was responsible for enlistment and officer recruiting goals for New York and half of Pennsylvania.
After retiring from the Navy, Rich entered college administration and teaching at D'Youville College in Buffalo where he was the first director of the college's highly successful advance degree completion program. Later, he became a high school teacher and principal. Rich maintains his relationship with D'Youville College as an adjunct professor in the business department. Andrew McGraw, Sales Process Coordinator and Marketing Manager
Andrew joined the AdaptaVan team in 2006 as the company's commercial sales coordinator. With extensive experience in both commercial sales and operations management, he provides AdaptaVan customers with accurate and efficient coordination of the production and delivery of each vehicle the company creates, as well as the administration of company contracts. In addition, Andrew directs and manages the company's marketing efforts.
Prior to working with AdaptaVan, Andrew spent several years in both commercial sales and operations supervision for a Fortune 100 company. His professional affiliations, experience and education include:
